Sharni Vinson is an Australian-American actor, dancer and actress born on 22 July 1983, in Sydney Australia. Her acting debut was in the year 201 when she was selected to be part of the Australian Soap show Home and Away where she played a small role in two episodes of the series. In that small role, her acting was so good that the director of casting wanted to have her play every role. But, she was able to audition for the role but was not picked. However, in the same series she played the character Cassie Turner which was the teen with a history of trouble that was in foster care. Fans and critics were awed by the performance. At the age of six, her dad brought the services of an actor to help her. At some point, she began receiving small roles on TV shows like The Love Boat T.J. Hooker & Fantasy Island. When she was 17 she ascended to fame after being given the character as Donna Martin in Beverly Hills 90210 the series with a high-grossing commercial success. Spelling Television is her father's production company for film. Due to this part the show, she was nominated for 2 Young Artist Awards. She became a highly successful actress on television and film, starring in movies such as A Friend to Die For that was released in the year 1994. A Carol Christmas (2003) and The Last Sharknado : It's Time (2018). In 1997, she appeared as a character in The House of Yes. Scary Movie 2, 2001, and Kiss the Bride. She went on to make independent movies. In the year 2019 Donna Martin reprised the part in the Beverly Hills 90210 spinoff.
